yeah adapter plates work well in most cases... that's how I managed to fit a GT45R on the FG manifold, plenty of room...

Not sure we are on the same page?

The adaptor plate I am talking about goes in-between the exhaust housing and the turbo core for this conversion.

I may have it wrong but I think the adaptor you have is between the exhaust housing and the manifold?

Would be worth speaking to Kyle at 6boost. My car is out there at the moment having this work done.

apparently the FG manifold is a much better flower, so it's probably easier to source yourself an FG manifold and have a T4 flange fitted... I think Rapid can do it.

Yeah the FG exhaust manifold is pretty good, I've got a GT45 on it with 50mm external off the housing...dead flat 22psi :)
