Don't think there is much difference aside from gearbox's but don't quote me on that.

ZF's have allot more complicated parts then a manual hence why they break more. I would personally get a bit nervous once my ZF was up and over the 350 mark where as a manual with a good clutch wouldn't bother me at all.

IMO if your just going for a quick streeter either will do (manual will need more power to run the same time as the auto though) but if you going for huge power and a quick time slip you might as well buy the cheapest and put a glide or C4 in it because yeah the ZF might handle the power but I wouldn't say 'reliably'.

there is a ba for 20 on here, I would look at it but so many issues it seems, its also on car sales.

but still can someone clarify for me as well differences in the ba and bf typhoons, be more specific as in engine differences etc. if its only the zf difference and brembos then a Ba may be a good option IMO, but im still looking so any decent advice would be good,

As for auto or mani, well im not biast but from what I have been hearing and now seeing ( looked at a bf 2 the other day not f6) new zf at 60k with only 310rwkw. go figure, havent heard of any 6 speed manis going yet so im stuck on what to get in that respect as well,

I think if its the right colour with the leather I want, then I would compromise either way.

I've had a BA Mk2 for 9 months, Only reason I got it, was I wanted manual, and all the BF's for sale at the time were auto.

It was almost stock, and now I've had it tuned to 288rwkw by bluepower, and had a trutrac diff fitted.

I've been through 2 sets of drive shafts, 1 LSD, and a sunroof, and now the turbo started making more noise when boosting than before (alot more noise)

This car had full service history as well.

Just got the wheels balanced and found every wheel is buckled, but it's never hit any hard bumps.

The drivers door lock stopped working and the remote alarm goes nuts , because it can't lock the drivers door.

The rattling rear view mirror that can't be taken off without possibly busting the windscreen, I fixed with a plastic washer jammed in it.

I drove through 1 ft deep water very slowly and the plastic under guard (under motor) ripped off and wrapped itself around the tail shaft.

The leather seats squeek like crazy (the seat springs) every time you move.

In the wet, it's got basicly no traction, the traction control is posums that live in the wheel wells and grab the wheel if it spins, if it keeps spinning the possum jumps out and runs away (traction control is useless)

You can get to 220 clicks in the blink of an eye, you can watch your mates cheeks suck back into the head rest as you floor it.

It aint no european or jap car, but it's one crazy superfast taxi, with leather.

Oh and you can drive around city streets in 3rd, from crawl to 150 clicks, It's got more torque (talk) than an ex wife.

Auto would be quicker but no were near as exciting as cruising in 6th at 100 dropping back to 3rd and launching into the sunset. IMO. Or snapping into 2nd around tight bends and steering it with your right foot.

Awesome IMO, get the manual.
