Yes but by changing the stroke they change the engine harmonics how the engine makes it's power.

Read SPIKO's build thread, that should show you what's currently possible with our 4.0l straight 6. If the motor he is building won't rev it's tits off further and make more power than anyone else has I'll take a load to the face from peter north.

I have always been a skyline/supra man, but these engines from ford are so good and have sooo much potential. its almost as if they have fluked it. every engine has a bad harmonic, that's why big performance costs $$$

V12s are naturally well balanced! I've had a lot to do jaguar V12s, they run beautifully with no harmonic balancer and non counter balanced machined stock forged cranks... Even with a completely stock forged crank their brilliantly balance and with rev smoothly to 8000...

Yeah I was Spiko. But back then they were just called 'Weapon' coils which suited the car.

Pat, I attempted to use the Tzatziki injection l8r that evening but didn't make it into the Tzatziki surge tank and unfortunately it spilled everywhere. I ended up burning a valve so some head work was needed. While I was at it, a port and polish was done as well. I also took the opportunity to check the tappet clearance with my feeler gauge and I used the reamer to give the bore a nice finish. At the end of the day, she was purring like a kitten.
