Hey guys insure this question has been answered before somewhere just can't seem to find it. I have a bf mk II an was wondering if I'm aiming for about 300rwkw am I going to need valve springs replaced or just injectors. I know earlier ba's have the weaker valve springs but not sure if the bf can do with 300 rwkw.

Thanks

Valve springs should be fine. I'm not planning on doing mine and am aiming for low 300's.

I was thinking they would be safe too, only thought otherwise because the guys from Jim mock racing said it would be a waste of time if I did only injectors so was getting mixed answers. But if you guys are running with stock springs then I don't see the problem.

Do you pay for insurance and never have a crash?

Same thing with valve springs. You may not need them but your better of having them then not.

I think I will be doing mine soon in a BF Phoon. Tewantin to Cooroy rd yesterday with a full car ( luggage and passengers)flat 4th going into the cnr going up the hill flat changed 5th and started to get some valve float .

Better to do them IMO. First sign of any issues for me, full car , full load , full throttle and a steep hill.

Now where to get em done as I am not driving a 2000k round trip to CV ?
