Hello all

I am very new to all of this, ive never owned a turbo before only V8s, and always older holdens. lol

I have been made the offer of buying my partners mums G6E T for the balloon payment once her lease runs out(hopefully in the next 12months or so)

I know it is still a long way off atm but any advice would be much appriciated!!

I plan to start gathering the bits I need to get the car humping now, so that once I get the car I can just throw it all in and go!!

what things do ppl think I need to get eg: LSD, cooler, piping etc etc lol as I have no idea about fords... or turbos... but am willing to learn! brands, part numbers, price and where I can get them etc would be great!

can much of these mods be done yourself, I am mechanically minded as ive build a few 8s before, but how different are turbos?

thanks a lot

brent

Here's somewhere to start mate. Thread looks like crap as it's still in the making but it might help a little. Also hit up the G6ET Forum spoton.gif

It all depends on how much power you will be chasing dude, but the first thing you will need is a flash tuner and then find a good tuner.

Then you can start looking at intercoolers pipes injectors cai setups exhaust turbos etc etc the more you spend the faster it will go. :wasklywabbit:

thanks very much so far!! im looking at somewhere around 350 at the wheels. been looking into different kits supplied by some of the bigger names mentioned on other threads here, this has given me a fair idea in the way of coolers etc.

what LSD is recommended?

thanks again
