I hope this is the reason he was having a hard time getting power out of it.. Only thing is it hasnt popped off the fitting. So I cant be sure its definatelty loosing boost through there, being 14psi I dont know if that would be enough to let air escape. Is it possible that this could be contributing to the power drop I had when I got the car retuned?? I am taking it back to him on monday to get it checked out on the dyno after it is tightened up. It would give me gr8 peace of mind knowing this was the cause of the power drop and not the piston failing Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/69141-bf-mk2-0606-or-fg-motor/page/2/#findComment-1021156 Share on other sites

Although I have noticed this a while ago there really isnt that much oil there at all just like a residue dust collector. This obviously needs to be repaired but tuner reckons it is a very small amount of oil there and since its been there for a while its not worth repairing unless it gets any worse. Torque seems abit higher than before but for some annoying reason it was tuned in 3rd this time didnt realise till I got home. I dont know if it akes any difference tuning from 3rd to 4th some ppl say it does some say it doesnt after reading around for the last couple of hrs. All in all I took it back he was more than happy to retune it everyone makes mistakes car seems happy im happy. The two attached dyno runs are not back to back. The 320rwkw was about 4-5months ago in 4th gear. The other today in 3rd320rwkw1.doc310rwkw1.doc Edited 05/07/10 01:33 PM by Brendan XR6-T Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/69141-bf-mk2-0606-or-fg-motor/page/2/#findComment-1021961 Share on other sites

The power is being read at the back wheels. the car is still putting 320kw to the ground only some put the 330down while in 3rd gear, and others get it down in 4th gear.
