yeggles Member 5 Member For: 14y 8m 4d Posted 30/06/10 09:10 AM Share Posted 30/06/10 09:10 AM gday lads, not much of a poster but keen to get more involved anyway, as the title describes, read a few different posts and word of mouth that seem to conflict regarding an exhaust upgrade.I recenlty purchased an XR6T and lookin at gettin around 260-270kw at the wheels, planning on flash tune, injectors, acuator, CAI (I should be able to get it done this weekend) and maybe an catback exhaust and should acheieve what I want. I dont want the exhaust for the note but rather performance gain (and a sexy twin tip ;D) so just curious to find if its worth doing and if its good bang for you buck upgrade what brand of cat should I be lookin for? etc.thanks fellas Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You'll just need injectors and a tune to get that figure...The exhaust flows well for stock... Replace with a high flow cat and pull out a center muffler and it's good for 350rwkw...Actuator won't be needed for 11 psi which is what you'll need for that figure...Change your air filter to a k&n... Get a typhoon intake on your airbox...Get some wrx iridium spark plugs... And a tune...If you did what you have said and put a fuel pump plus intercooler, you'll see 320rwkw...
