This is a no cost option on some of the XR6T's delivered to dealers for floor stock in Perth. I have seen quite a few and most sales guys didn't even know they had 'em (what's new?). Personally, I hate it. It's in the way and seems awkward - and I'm short! Reminds me too much of a 1980's Sigma. Go the drink holder.

The drink holder is fine until you have a drink & your mobile in there. Which I seem to have most of the time. If I put my sunnies in, my mobile disapears into the console under the radio. Not a major deal just something that annoys me from time to time. I think I will have to look for the case that came with my sunnies when I bought them.

The drink holder is a pain in the ass if you have a drink in it and are trying to use the SSS. Its so annoying!

Same deal in the maual when you use 2nd or 4th gear. My arm is constantly knocking my drink or I am sort of reaching over my drink for the gearstick. :drivingalong:

and also, there isnt really much space to put lots of litle things in the car I.e. sunnies mobile phone, ciggarett buds. there isnt space in the door (or the arm rest in the door) for anything, in the AU11 there was like a little bin to put your eaten apples, ciggarette buds etc. (please exuse my spelling)

Yeah, smoking is bad enough let alone smoking in brand new $50k car - or any new car for that matter!!!!!!! And I won't even mention what I would do if someone wanted to eat in my car......

But, that is just me. Each to their own.
