Going on how much I was quoted for a trade in value of my fg xr6t maybe he payed to much. I wanted to trade my 2008 fg xr6t on a new patrol and they would only give me $20000 and that was from 2 dealers.

There is something seriously wrong when you pay over $58000 for a new car and in less than 2 years its value is only $20000

I was told they must inform if a cars been listed as a repairable rightoff/ been in a major accident, but nearly all decent caryards will wholesale out a car with that sort of history.

Wheels will be the first thing to go!

I had a really good look at the front and back end for signs of accidents but if it has been in one, its been repaired as good as new. And it drives great, he handed over the keys for the test drive and we gave threw it round a little bit to listen for any odd sounds coming from anywhere.

Do they have to disclose to us if its been in an accident if I ask?

dealer in sa offered me 28k to buy it outright so you were being shafted

This was the cheap FG for sale up in Lawnton at a dealer. There was a thread on it awhile back.

Yeah that is the link mate. We picked this car up this afternoon. REVS check came up clear worm, no accidents or insurance records and says its been registered as a commercial all its life so the story about being a council car may be true.

It drives like new, and it seems like may have been just a good deal...
