Saw this at the local car yard today, thought it must be a typo.

The thing is fully optioned (ie Lux pack, sat nav)

63000 kms isnt to huge I dont think?

What do you guys think ( I kinda smell it has been in an accident?)

linky

Edit: rims look crap IMO

Nah it's not that bad, id still check it out first, no xr6 or turbo badges is a bit weird.

Firstly it's unregistered, can dealerships sell cars unregistered? No rego would mean it hasn't passed a roadworthy YET, maybe they don't want to roadworthy because it won't pass? To my knowledge dealerships can't sell unroadworty cars.

That does appear a little cheap for an optioned up one, especially at a dealership. Although they said that rego and dealer charges/stamp duty etc, are not added yet so take a few more bucks into account, say $2,000-$3,000? But if it's been in a major accident they would have to disclose it to you, if you ask. Although a little while ago on carsales, in Victoria there was an FG XR6T ute, black, auto, lux pack, tech pack, close to fully optioned with around 17xxx km's for $34,000. If I were in Vic I would have jumped at it.

Yes the rims are horrible that's probably why the price is so low :P

Yeah but it states in the ad that the only extra costs are registration and government charges, so for that to occur it has to have a roadworthy and comes with a statutory three month warranty...and would still be under new car warranty in any case.

Could have been a repossessed vehicle bought at auction or something

give or take 1 or 2 grand its priced about right (plus rego ) these things as are most cars are worth nothing once they are nearly two years old you them to drive and enjoy not make money

plus them ugly wheels wouldnt be helping it sell as a matter of fact I wouldnt buy it just because who ever was retarded enough to put wheels like that on an xr more than likely treated the car like sh*t anyway

cheers trev
