Both cars were Auto sedans. Just curious as I am looking for minor mods to make around 400rwhp with mine...so if I don't have to change dump/cat/exhaust then all good. We see this alot when cars have claimed much more power on dyno days but dont make whats claimed.Last of all I have not seen a FG (small turbo) make over 400 hp at the wheels on our dyno.Hope this clears a few things upCheers Paul Edited 07/09/10 01:19 AM by Paul@eliteauto Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/69003-g6e-t-cops-a-process-west-stage-2-kit/page/3/#findComment-1038040 Share on other sites

juggernaut Member 71 Member For: 15y 10m 4d Posted 08/09/10 11:33 PM Share Posted 08/09/10 11:33 PM The FG turbo is rated at 49 lb's/minute of air (based on Nizpro video)...to put that into perpective....a Garrett 3071 is rated at around 48lb's and the 3076 at around 53lb's so it sits somewhere in the middle of these two turbos. Each pound of air will make around 9hp - 11hp - depending on who you talk to. Assuming an average of say 10hp per pound of air, this turbo is rated at 490hp (365kw). Assuming a drivetrain loss of say 18%, this will give us bang on 300rwks. If you assumed the turbo would make 11hp per pound of air....this would equate to 330rwks. Based on the dynos I'm seeing posted, somewhere between these figures are pretty much what we are seeing on a maxxed out FG turbo. If you wanted slightly more power than the stock turbo you could fit the 56 trim compressor from the 3076 turbo (rated at 53lb per minute) and the .6 a/r compressor cover.
