G6E T Cops A Process West Stage 2 Kit

We had a customer bring his G6ET in for a 60000km service on wednesday.

He enquired about putting an intercooler, injectors and high flow cat on also.

We recommended to him the Process West Stage 2 intercooler kit which also includes pipework that gets rid of all the piss weak factory plastic pipe work.

Hats off to Kev@Process West for getting the kit to us so quickly!

We rang him on wednesday morning and we had the kit on our doorstep early thursday morning.

We also added a high flow metal cat into the mix to help free up the standard exhaust.

Before handthis car was making in the vicinity of 240rwkw with just a custom tune.

After we finished, the ended up making 268rwkw!!! And alot more torque all over the board!!

Here are a couple of pics of the beast in question.

The engine bay looks damned near factory as well as how the intercooler looks through

the grill.

number plates have been blanked out for obvious reasons.

No offence... But 268rwkw sounds pretty average for the mods @ 11 psi...

I would have been thinking MUCH closer to 300???

My car just has fpv cooler, stock piping etc... And a custom tune for 285-290rwkw and it's a ba on stock valve springs... Stock cat... And just lpg setup with stock lpg injectors...

What's robbing this thing of power???

completely agree, all that for an extra 28kw at the wheels at 11psi, something isn't right? did you remember to re-tune it afterwards? why didn't u do the injectors as well?

my xr6t went from 240 to 320 on an 8psi boost custom tune with nothing else other than new injectors, didn't touch the intercooler

what were the before & after torque figures like?

oh and I forgot the f6 airbox and replaced the paper filter with a k&N, both of which I bought off ebay and fitted myself.....peanuts
