LOL

Dude remove the BOV and block it up like you did on the crossover and push the vacuum line on top of one of the screws to block it off :spoton:

Fellas.. An uneducated question... If the BOV is blocked up then where is the air escaping ? And what is causing the Flutter sound ? Also Henz mentioned just removing a Vacuum Line off the top... Is this the one behind the part that has Turbo Intercooled on it on the Rocker Cover ? I want this sound..

Thanks Boys

02 sucka, the air that isnt been used goes back through the turbo and out the air filter, making the flutter. And on a BA/BF, yes the blow off is behind the crossover(The bit with turbo/intercooled on it)

R-Spec, what are the advantage of that and why?

Would it make a difference?

 It might be wrecking your stock BOV having all the pressure build up?

Think of it this way. Air travels one way, sucked in through your air intake, charged then forced through your intercooler then into your intake manifold with the throttle open. When you close the throttle the excess air has no where to go but in the opposite direction to once it came.

Pushing back against the charged air that your turbo is pushing forward, slowing down throttle response and putting unnecessary stress on your turbo. Common sense would dictate that it is beneficial to minimise this "surge" of negative air as best you can. One of the best ways to do this is via a turbo dump valve aka bov. As soon as the throttle is closed the surge of negative air is released via the dump valve rather then being pushed against the flow of positive charged air.

The only downfall of this setup is the lack of stupid VL turkey sounds that you can use to pull fully sick mingas on chapel street.

What purpose does the Vac line have?

Is it true that if the Vac line is blocked, you are loosing boost?
