if they do I will be finding a new place to live because australia will be that broke we will not be able to afford to live here.

Look what is happerning in qld water charges going up by more than 21% a year, rego up I think 6 times in 4 years, electricity going up every couple of months, councils have to put rates up so much because the stae goverment cant afford to give them the money they should be because it is broke.

Labor have f*ck this country and it only took rudd and gillard two years to send the country broke if it was a private company it would have recievers appointed by now.

Tabs - nice find...

1x following - and its MT!

heheheh

Oh - lets be honest... does it really count if your the first female PM.... BY DEFAULT?

She never really WON anything except the backing from other party members... that's not the Aust Public... I bet all the old frustrated pollys in Canberra are to scared to pay for a poke from a pro, so I guess all she really would have needed to do was 'flash dance'.....???

:dontknow:

Winning by default - some say "Winning is Winning" - but when its a lose lose situation... hhhmmm Next!

Get Ell, or Jen on a balot sheet - and then you will have Australias First Female PM FOR REAL!!! :beerchug:

Her "mits" are all over their failed policies (or whatever they call their ideas between backflips). I think she will now come under more scrutiny (as the PM should) for her lack of aptitude for the BER and the gang of four. That baggage is something that the opposition should hold her fully accountable for.

Their comments of late about the opposition are a perfect description of themselves, rather than those opposite. They're like a desperate drowning man.

With the same hopeless ministers, how could anyone vote for them just because the PM has changed? To be an effective government, all ministers themselves have to be effective contributors. The incumbents don't suddenly become "competent" because the leader has changed.

As for Martin Ferguson and Wayne Swan doing the "negotiation" on the mining tax...... :nono::buttonit:

I've got an idea as a new role for Kevvie.......take over Greg Combet's role of fixing all the f*ckups HE created, particularly the insulation one. Now there he could really be proud of achieving SOMETHING.......ANYTHING.

Smoke - you my friend are 100% correct in your comments about an 'effective government'.... The issue is however to many people in this country are not aware of just what a 'government' is all about, rather vote for the 'leader'...

Its most interesting to think - considering we are so 'team' focused when it comes to sport, yet ask 10 people on the street anything about any goverment, 9 will know the leader, 5 might know the assistant PM, and 3 might know the tresure... anymore names or knowledge after that and you might be lucky to get 2 (if your lucky) from the original 10 that have any clue what they are on about....

Hence it is such, and always has been such a 'celebrity' act in Australian politics (especially with the ALP party)....

Marketing baby, people marketing... :buttonit:

And what has that high profile Labor celebrity achieved as the replacement???

They simply don't deserve to be in govt. Would say and do anything to stay in power even if it meant the country was worse off....what patriots.

We will have to bear the usual cutbacks when the deficit gets too big, if god forbid, they are re-elected

They are simply self defeating in the long run.
