Had a similar prob myself. The silicone joiners on mine were too long on the each end of the 45's, which meant it sat to far down.

The solution was to trim about 30mm off each end of the silicone 45's where they meet the alloy pipe bend. This allowed the pipe to be higher and FURTHER BACK without causing any distortion of the joiner under the headlight.

Thanks for the tip. I will give it another try tomorrow... :beerchug:

Update..

Chris (Rapid Industries) gace me a call this morning and it is all fixed.. Thanks Chris you are a champ.

The problem was no fault of his or the kit... It all came down to the fitter ---> ME !! :bangcomputer:

I had the bottom pipe upside down... What a DILL :roflmbo:

The bar has now been refitted and the rear bar also.

Now all I have to do is the DJR 320 side skirts. Lucky they have the Left/Right stamped on those.. Or I might f*ck that up to... HA HA ...

I am thinking of cutting up my standard grille and fitting oit so that the grille doesn't look like crap....

Thank you to all that gave me tips on the fitting.....

Sorry bud.

Unfortunately I do not have any pictures from the inside of the bar.

The mesh has screws that go into the factory bar around where the insert is.

You can see where the slots for them are on the top and bottom..

I am sure that they could be modified with tabs on them that you could bend over the insert. So that you coud sikaflex them to your glass bar... :spoton:
