Hey,

Ive been looking around at getting some audio gear in the typhoon. But im wanting to keep the factory look as much as possible without removing the tissue box and putting a Head unit there or installing pre outs in the standard premium sound due to a lack of sound control.

This looks pretty smart. Alpine Electronics of Australia

Am wondering if anyone has hooked one of these up to their falcon and configured it with the premium screen?

Cheers.

I got my veehub installed by northfield in 07 on my bf phoon. I like it but there is no point without a aftermarket dvd player sound quality is not as good but when I run it through my xbox360 it sounds much better. I just run the factory cd player with two mono amps and 2 12's. Wasn't that many options in early 07. Proberly go a diffrent way if I was to do it again

In all honesty the Alpine hub is no worth the money. The picture quality is woeful as it is prone to electrical inteference from the car. I went the ASL Logisica path with a Jvc DvD player. This is by far th best option if you want agood picturre quality. My car was the guinea pig for the Asl system at our loca Alpine dealer. They no longer push the V-Hub as they feel that it is inferior (Picture quality)to my method..

what is the price of the asl product? quality? ease of instalation?

Their RGB converter is $300, and if you need an auto switching harness (because you already have a reverse cam or sat nav from the factory), there is another $150
