Hey guys,

I have an 08 FG XR6T, and have noticed when first starting it up in the mornings, or any time for that fact I sometimes hear water running somewhere coming from behind the cluster it seems.

It only trickles for about 5 seconds then fades out.

It does it regardless whether the air con is switched on, or not.

Is there something wrong with my car??? There is no water coming into the cabin

HMMM, IT WORRIES ME WHEN THEY SAY IT IS NORMAL, WHEN IT DIDN'T DO IT FROM NEW !!!! Infact that response just aggravates me!!!

Its very faint, but as long as the radio is down, you can hear it immediately after the jet roars in to life!

It will probably be heater core... And f*ck up 1 month out of warranty!

That's how Ford designs em!!! ;-) hope it's a quick fix mate

afaik its completely normal. I'd be worried if it did it constantly, but for a short time not a problem.

And fellas, the heater core is not behind the cluster, so either the sound is coming from somewhere else, or murph needs his hearing checked out (giving you the benefit of the doubt here murph :spoton:) I should add that what does run through that area are the two heater hoses through the firewall - likely the noise is coming from that area.
