lol a "drift" pod. same brand that makes the oil filters etc.

and yesh it sounds good.

also its better then the 3" that was on there but yea I have to agree the bends and all are the same so it probably doesnt make any gain

lets not get into this 'yes it does or doesnt need a bov'.

Expert tuners such as Dyno-mite and Nizpro claim they dont need them. Nizpro have a big write up on their forums you can go read. There is no 100% answer here if it does damage the turbo. Just myths. Maybe we need to call mythbusters?

Im pushing over 400rwkw in my car and have no bov. Dyno-mite tuned. His 8sec XE has no bov either. Nor do a whole heap of cars he has setup. Wonder if gtech run a bov....

There is clear evidence that a BOV helps with turbine longevity, but there doesn't appear to be any research that indicates how much less longer a turbo will run without BOV, because air cannot escape it is forced back into the turbo, which inturn rapidly reduces fan speed, this then puts greater pressure on fan, shaft and bearings. Could 1000k,s could be 100,000k's, no-one seems to be able to answer this question. But there is no doubt that manufacturers provide this equipment to a vehicle for reliability, not so much for performance. However, there appears to be more lag without BOV and is more noticable in a manual than auto, cheers
