hey guys me and a mate made a 4" pod setup in his fg turbo.

was quoted about $350 for a exhaust shop to do the same thing and made it for about half the price.

made the exhaust note louder and dose sounds awesome, also alot better throttle response and defiantly feels slightly quicker.

the bov has been taken off and blocked up with rubber chair stoppers. ba,bf,fgs dont need bovs if you didnt already know

heres a picture

haha nah he didnt like the bov just mading the wooooosh, now it gobbles like a turkey.

well the intercoolers cooling down the air anywho and it doesnt really get hot

have the theory that its sucking cold air from behind the headlight

the guy that seems to own dandy exhausts is running the pod like that and said its fine

You are making the intercoolers job harder, because you will picking up radiant heat from the radiator, rather than ambient air from the air box

Seems like a lot of effort and potentially risk to save what, $200 max?

With the exact same intake length and it still running over the engine and exhaust it would hardly be worth it wouldn't it.
