whats a good cat/dump set up that flows good an isnt loud an drowny an simular to standard sound?

I was thinking a 5inch cat from rapid an x force 4inch dump.. its cheap.. but I like the sound of the stock exshaust

The bigger you go, the louder it gets.

The cheaper you go, the dronier it gets.

SMB 4" dump into 5" cat is a good option so long as you get the genuine SMB adaptor pipe to bolt it onto the stock system. You can buy it all direct for the best pricing Keith :nyaah:

yeh was thinking smb... luke with the f6 that crashed he had that set up an it sounded alright but 1600 or so for it hmmm =/ im a poor ass hahaha

I don't know if you seen my post just below this one, but I am looking at reversing sound and basically the larger you go, the louder it is.. simple.

Having said that, I am not trying to work out if a split dump or a normal single piped dump will sound the same, volume/drone wise.

What sort of power do you want? My 4" dump and 3.5" cat was supporting 380rwkw, it wasn't holding me back either, just the rest of the setup lol :nyaah:

well not sure what im aiming for.. im just doing simple mods at the moment because ill know ill want to get a fair bit later..

first im after is injectors fuel pump cat dump tune.. shuld see 300ish?

just dont like the sound of exhasust.. stocker sounds yum.. an as slash said about smb.. ive been in my mates 360rwkw manual typhoon with smb cat an dump an all you culd hear is the turbo wine a the air box suck.. was best sound ever ahhaah :)

but 1760 bucks not including delivery.. hm..

guess ill see how much I get back from tax hhaa... need 1500-2000ish for tune an installment of stuff

I'd jump at $1700 odd for an exhaust you know you like...

I have had 3 systems and still extremely unhappy with the cabin drone sound. I wont tell you how much I have spent so far on mine. :spoton:

If you have heard the SMB and like it, go for it :icon_ford:
