So I went to Exhaust Innovations in capalaba because they have a really good rep and did my brothers twin system. I was quoted $1185 for a 3.5" dump pipe, mild steel with a stainless steel dump at the end and $570 for the SS induction and filter, all fitted. Apparently I will get about 20kw out of this total, does that sound like a good price and will I pull that kw from that? I know the system will be good coz it's custom made, apparently bolt ons don't come for the FG XR6T's yet. The way he explained it was, if I go from the turbo then it may cause conflicts with the ECU allowing more air flow and fuel etc, so I would need it flash tuned to stop those conflicts. Flash tuning is out of the question because of the warranty and as for the SS Induction apparently they are quite good, and there is just not much more I can do to it without voiding. Apparently it helps fuel consumption too, or is there a different brand I should look at?
