Hi, I'm going to start doing some circuit racing soon and I'm chasing some new wheels for the track. I would like to use Toyo Proxes R888, which sorta limits me to an 18" wheel. Now I've heard a lot of people fitting 20x10" on the rear, but I was wondering if anyone has managed to fit 18x10" and and if so what offset was used. Also would it be possible to fit 18x9" under the front?

Thanks in advance.

I know anyone who has managed to fit a 9 inch wheel under the front has had to make alterations...

18X10 will definitely fit under rear... if 20X10 does...

I have 20X10 with +45 offset...

You can can go as high as a 9.5" rim on the front but you've got to either...

A) find a rim with a seriously low +'ve offset or

B) use spacers (obviously not advised for insurance reasons)

I dunno how 9.5 could fit...

If you had 9.5 with low positive offset... I reckon it would hit upper control arm and stick out the guard...

You would need to measure the distance from the upper control arm to the guard to see what is possible... Then get some wheels custom made!

How low of an offset do you think I'll need? The rims I'm looking at are "LENSO D1R" they come In +44,+40,+32,+15 offset for the 18x9 and +41,+36,+29,+22,+15 for the 18x10.

I know 17x9 with a +41 offset fits on the front, but it sits very close to the hub carrier.

Wrong. 18x10 +45 will not fit. You will need 18x10 +36 or lower offset to be able to fit in the rear.

The bit circled and the one on the far bottom will rub on the rims edge.
