enough with the numbers and how much kw your losing through the converter who cares its all numbers

the important numbers are the ones you get from calder/heathcote

I've got a 3300TCE Converter in my BA and I make 350rwkw on only 16psi, and that's with a standard plenum..

but anyway good luck on the track billy boy.

phantom6. Auto built at bayswater Autos. Converter was custom made by TCE.

DJ, I know, dynos mean crap. Hence my low reading not worrying me. nizpro ran 10's with 330rwkw. Its all good!

July 9th im going to calder relax! Just neet to practice some launches before I waste my 80$

seeman I wouldnt go over 3500!!!! Make sure its built tight too. Not loose like my convertor lol

What was the initial goal? To build a 10sec car with the tightest budget known to man & to piss as many people off along the way as possible?

Hope it all comes together for you, but I wouldn't be too cocky about the BTR holding together just yet :spoton:

bayswater and TCE said it sucks 30rwkw that was when I had the 2800rpm. Now that I got the 3200-3500 histall....who knows.

Who cares, track mph will let me know roughly. Even if I hit 12s and do 125mph ill be happy.

You cant put a number on how much RWKW a convertor chews.. Its a fluid coupling. EVERY convertor is unique, even if the same convertor shop makes 2x 2800, they will both show different results.. the smallest amount of clearance in re-assembly causes a world of difference in how a convertor stalls, drives, torque multiplication...

Your convertor is the washiest convertor I've ever driven. Absolutely sh*t drive in it.

My Initial convertor, which was developed for APS back in the days when there was no "EDIT" but just Unichip, They had to make sure the convertor was still as tight as factory to avoid hitting the limp mode. In Fact, the convertor had MORE drive than the factory one did, with higher stall... But of course, it was built by the Best... Grant!

On the dyno with that convertor, my car showed 398rwkw, Show me any car with a 4 speed auto, and the factory turbo make power like that.

When Grant rebuilt my convertor with more stall, that instantly dropped to 375rwkw.

MPH will be easy.. But you will have better luck sucking a bloke off than getting a ET in the 10's. I read 10.79 and 131mph on the ET street forum? LOL.. Good luck..

LOL!!! Funniest thing I've read in this thread..

Yeh.. No Disrespect to Dion, but a couple of days of having at tune, and its the car and auto feel the strongest they have ever felt. But really what other tune have you got to compare with? The Modified Rev limited AVO tune I left in your car? lol

my goal is to hit 10.89 to piss off more people :D

LOL... Good luck..

Try that in full street trim, full exhaust, with only semi slicks, then you might get some credit.

But even so, that's so 2 years ago..

lol @ tightest, ive dropped like 20k already into the ba but sure!

Let me guess, the 10.89 is to piss of Danny as he ran 10.90?

You're a douchebag! His car was an unopened BA with stock motor, not an abortion that has bits of this & bits of that. Never met him myself, but I have the impression that Danny's a stand-up guy that got fed up dealing with cheapskates as his thread a few weeks ago suggested. You come on here bagging him & predicting you'll run better times is laughable.

Does the $20k include tyres, oil changes & car cleaning products? I bet you have all those receipts tucked away in your glovebox or something :spoton:

Seriously, you're better off just keeping quiet on here until you go out & run some decent numbers. I don't think many people on here are reading your thread for anything but entertainment value as your last few have been crackers.
