and yes ratter, we donno if its the zorst or the cat or bad port/flapper mod done. Some R&D needed but that will be later on.

wastegate port problems will cause overboost, not lack of power from restrction,

This is another reason why I didn't want to deal with you no more, You were not interested in me investigating the previous poor wastegate port job.

Dropping the exhaust, and the boost raising is a good indication that I was right from the very start.

As Mick said, its not the exhaust causing a restriction. its the poor wastegate job.

And as you can see, your dreams of seeing 400rwkw at the wheels will never happen with that convertor. So "at least you get a dyno sheet" to open your dreamie eyes.

So you dropped the exhaust and boost went up, did power increase?? If it gained power then you know the restriction is after the dumps flange, ie cat or further back

is it an old/used APS system or new?

We all know its common for cats to fail and cause restictions.

A crappy/poor job on the wasetagate will cause over boost, as Mick pointed out.

But atleast you've got a bit of paper and driving it... must say its been entertaining for alot of us with the antics... maybe not for those directly involved though.

yep so a bit more R&D and see what happens. After I sell the house in a few months ill have it sorted anyway. I wont bother with reporting the turbo as ill be getting a gt42 +6boost manifold and replace the rods. If problem still exist, ill just grab the nizpro dump back exhaust. Then I should be able to see my mark danny :)

RAPID: im here to entertain! :P

sideways, when I replace the turbo ill prob be looking at 20psi with everything else. ATM it starts on 19 then drops to 18/18.5

low 11,s at only a 3/4 track run,are you kidding?you should be happy with a low 11 on a full pass!!you seem to have this belief that its easy to run 10,s..maybe that's why there isnt hundreds of turbos running 10,s!!hope you prove me wrong though I doubt it.

I hope I prove me wrong to! I dont go to the track with intentions of running 12s. I go with the intentions of running 10's. If I dont, then I am more determined to do it next time with a few extra tweaks. I set a goal that is possible, but doubtful, therefor I keep going back for MOAR!
