His right - ive got Himbos with Ceramic Pads, New Rotors (DBA 4000 Cross Drilled and Slotted), plus the bonus of newly flushed and installed Dot 5.1...No issues what so ever... as you would expect - the only issue I had all night was getting heat into the pads, and heat into the tyres - Matt (powerslid) mentioned had never seen a F6 get from one side of the road to the other and back in the blink of an eye... Shame is wasnt intentional.Last time we went up however, I had Feroda pads wih the Brembo Rotors - Nick (nickcoul) and I were waiting at the bottom for around 3-4 mins before anyone else was sighted... problem was we were there trying to put the brakes out!!!Mind you Reg asked me to lead us all down, and well - I think I got a little so serious with the idea of being far enough ahead to warn everyone... (3-4mins ahead)... Push it at lease 30-40% harder then Friday night... Dry road, and a little warmer... so wasnt anything to really worry about... As for last night....+1 for the Ceramics when you really need something to handle the heat!!!+1 for the AP Racing 5.1 (even if it is over kill)...+1 for the XDrilled/Slotted (dont care what anyone says about the holes cracking)... Few $$$ in the front end to pull the RSpec up... but well worth it!!!Wouldn't be suprised if most of the stock calipers ran a better pad, clean fluid, and some decent rotors, wouldnt find you guys being 50 times happier!!!What you think Reg?Good combo with the Ceramic, xdriller/slotted, and fluid or what?Plus the ability of the driver... (BTW - Auto?? I prefer to call it a clutchless Manual)... Arjay - how you go with the recent upgrade we sorted for you???Stock Cal. DBA 4000 xdrilled/slotted, Bendix "CT" Pads (I'm not impressed he is using these but)... Edited 04/07/10 01:35 PM by smicky

As for 5000 - forget it... waste of money...Try to replace the rotor only and keep the hub, cost you the same or more then a set of new 4000's...Was going to do it for the f6 until I saw the replacement rotor cost for the 5000, and weight saving - like 1-2 KG's - whats the point?PM me and ill see what I can do... No dramas, no incidents, Rob's idea of splitting the pack through the congested parts worked a treat and everybody came home safe and sound with with a smile on their face and their car intact. Just the way I like to see it..... Edited 05/07/10 12:16 AM by BionicXR6T spell
