If the buyer who bought the box off ebay says he didn't know it could be custom tuned even though I stated to check this I'll be happy to refund him his money. I remember buying my Xcal 1 from CV Performance, had a group buy goin and got it for $750.. Not doin that again, SCT have lost a customer.. Only the custom tuning software! And you don't need illegal software to use the tune box. Have you used one of these yourself or you wern't even competent to do that. Let me guess you took it to a mechanic to flash? Get your facts straight and your finger out of your .... You do not need Illegal software to flash a generic tune! If you bring me your car I will flash generic tunes on it. Then what are you going to say. Oh the the box does work to flash generic tunes and the penny will drop dodo. Now if tuning software to tune this has gone down the drain then it is the consumers fault in which I clearly warned against to check!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!If you don't understand this mate then you need to keep your comments on this topic to yourself. Posted 14/11/10 05:31 AM Share Posted 14/11/10 05:31 AM You have know idea mate not only did I use one of these I was one of the first to mod an xr6t.You need to understand to even put a so called generic tune in these you need the software to do it.This software was shut down by sct each tuner that used it had so many times they could use before they had to update the software from sct this has now been shut off.So to load anytune either custom or generic you need software.If someone is doing it they are using illeagle software.And there is why sct shut it down because people have been using illeagle software.You need to understand that you have juped this customer into thinking it works like it used to but it does not.I will also add that I have been a mechanic for over 30 years I will also add I have worked for ford over half that including winning top technican twice.mate you need to try better than that to out witt and out smart alot of people on here.Ianps pm genebaby the tuners who are doing the tuning so he can add that to the accc case he has going it will help us all.
