The other opinions like tougher testing and getting sh*t cars off the road is a good call. Most old cars can't stop well and can cause death instead of injury because they don't have adequate breaking systems or roadworthy tyres. Finally someone has said something in the media about what I've been thinking for years

Posted 13/06/10 09:05 AM Share Posted 13/06/10 09:05 AM Just got back from the states and we comfortable cruised the highways at 150, just keeping up with the majority of the traffic, on occasions from LA to Vegas we were sitting on 180 no problems at all. Cops around but didnt see them pulling over everyone, just those being twats. The roads aren't all that great either. Take the Brisbane-Gold coast stretch, heaps better quality of surface, less traffic as well. They have dickheads hogging the fast lane and tailgaters but the traffic just seems to flow better (when its not congested to sh*t).
