the zf is a better box, no doubt about it. they never considered putting a btr in an aston martin, but the zf is used for a few exotics (beefed up a bit though).

all the same, a beefed up btr with a stall behind a boosted 350rwkw provides an experience that not too many cars will give.

so the zf may be better, but side by side on the road, who'd know?

Kw for Kw I know which is faster to 250 kph and beyond and it aint the BTR.

One thing I hate about the 6spd auto in the FG is how it doesnt roll on smoothly when you give it a squirt then back off. They feel better in the BF. I like my built 4spd cos that's what I can afford to maintain haha.

But we gotta have our left hand on our boyfriends lap/crutch and the right hand on the steering wheel so we got no choice but to have an auto.

Also I'd much rather have my hand on my boyfriends gearstick than a 6sp speed manual gearstick.

your probably right *Beep*, but, when there is a zf into the nines, it will reliably keep running nines. unlike the btr. regular drags with anything over 300rwkws means constant rebuilds. there are guys with rebuild receipts worth more than the car just for an old btr. must admit though, I loved the hard as nails change in my old one, but that's about all.

Lol c'mon Worm, bit of friday night entertainment.

btw I do like your gas setup, your a lucky bastard when it comes to servo time lol.

LOL I am only kidding champ...

My gas setup is great... Costs less than $10 per 100km... And that's giving it a hard time... Would be around $5 per hundred on the open road... It's much easier to fill up the car at 20-something $$$ then 80-something... And it drives pretty hard on gas... Can't wait to see a time at Calder... Just need to do my brake setup first...

In regards to the auto debate... Obviously as technology gets better, so do the autos... My point was that I like driving the 4 spd more...

Just like I used to love smashing through the gears in my 4 spd toploader in the XE... Sure the 6spd manual in the T was better... But the XE was just as much fun!!!
