after a tune I might like it when its abit quicker and firmer but at the moment I hate my stock box, it shifts quick when cruising around but its so slow when your really giving it some.

I feel that 4 long gears kill the car completly I wish I bought a t56, I havent driven a zf though

once I get mine rebuilt it will be better because it will give me more confidence in manual mode to shift down through the gears while braking etc

Oh yeah... Mine has been edited... Which I pretty much had done as soon as I got the car... So not sure how a stock one goes...

Doesn't everyone get them edited when they get a custom tune???

Yeah, I love your work Mick! ;-)

They are much better when car is tuned, but still a big call to make.

...must be an LPG thing, all the other LPG Falcon drivers love the 4 speed as well :censored:

Try a modified turbo with a modified ZF. Smooth on casual throttle, tight and sharp on full throttle......plus an extra few gears to play with. It's always in the right gear for any occaision. Each one to their own though :censored:

If you want the BTR to shift really soldly and in turn allow it to take alot more power than disconnect the S3 and S4 solenoid.

I detailed this mod many moons ago, but it was largely ignored. Glad to know that the box can go 9sec in a relatively heavy B series. I am sure these guys run this mod.

This mod needs to have the computer fooled to think the solenoids are still there. If you dig up my old post you will find all the details on how to do it there.
