More response, easier wheelspin and you can actually feel it shift...I know the ZF is GREAT... And it can handle more power etc...But how many people are getting quick times with them...?I know I am probably gonna get slammed... But it's just my two cents... However after getting used to the massive range of gears I couldn't fall in love with the 4 speed again.I do think even the N/A six was very well suited with its lazy torque to the 4 speeds. but fuel efficiency is pretty important I guess and the six is a step up, plus no more first gear whine like a taxi.. Posted 07/06/10 05:37 AM Share Posted 07/06/10 05:37 AM are we comparing stock zf boxs to stock 4sp's? or worked 4sp's with stall vs stock zf's? apples and oranges? Are there many zf strengthened with histalls?broad topic, but since im more of a hard shifter, I prefer the 4sp which just bangs gears awaythe more gears you have to change the more chance you have of stuffing up that .1sec down the strip ;p

But frusterating when guys with heaps less power pull away from you on shifts during a cruise...Also T56 has the ability to make your eyes feel like they are gonna go through the back of your head with big amounts of boost!!! The ZF is nice for an old man in a BMW... But I prefer something... I dunno... A bit beefier... Where you can feel shifts and know what gear you are in...I think the BTR is a better manual auto... If you know what I mean!!! LOL
