If it was bad fuel - thinkin some of the others would have been affected.Anyway, learnt something new today - how to clean my K&N air filter - the cleaning stuff smells alot like oven cleaner to me - but I think it's done the job Shud have seen all the bugs and stuff drop out of the filter - and even found the little yellow rubber cap that fits over the bonnet release lever in the front - little bugger got sucked into my airbox as well Had to get the vacuum cleaner into the depths of my airbox cos there was so much dust and grit lying there

Posted 28/11/10 12:13 PM Share Posted 28/11/10 12:13 PM Mate....if there was that crud in the filter, chances are that your air-flow meter is probably gunked up as well.Easy job to take it off and spray some carby cleaner through it..... Pit Lane early discussion suggests prolly bad fuel. One clip wud have provided a good enough seal most likely. Anyway I've driven it alot since the incident just before Khancoban and not had any further issues of stalling. I did whack half a bottle if metho into the tank at Khancoban though justin case.
