Okay, we've changed the motel for Tumut now - choice of 2 motels (because accomodation was starting to get booked out). The Tumut Motor Inn which is next to our dinner venue the Oriental Hotel in Tumut. Or the Golden Chain The Elms Motor Inn - a 60 metre walk from the Oriental Hotel.

Jindabyne is still at the Alpine Gables motel.

As it it's not easy to get accomodation as time draws nearer - I encourage those of you who have not booked in to do so soon to take advantage of any special forum rates we have negotiated for you!

I've also made a reservation for us at the Oriental Hotel for dinner in Tumut Friday night about 6pm.

When you arrive in Tumut on Friday, please make arrangements for your own breakfast - the motels do room service breakfast. Planning to leave early on Saturday morning, about 8am.

Saturday, lunch is at the Cabramurra General Store (please be patient with them as they have limited staff but I have rung ahead to let them know we'd be there for lunch which is a start).

And the big finale dinner is at the Alphine Gables on Saturday night (so we don't have to stagger around outside to find our rooms )

Do what you like on Sunday - last time the breakfast in the Jindabyne shopping plaza was good.

I understand its a big cruise. I work for myself so can reschedule clients, however I've had to organise the ex to pick my boy up from school etc etc and that's a pain in the reat.

But sooo looking forward to 3 days of driving and XR talk.

I can vouch for the fun to be had on this weekend. The one a few years ago was great. Well done again Gaz on the effort put into the finer details.

I would love to come and test the new mods but put me down as a maybe as it depends on my health at the time.
