Taking off full throttle in first the car starts to lose traction. I get this incredibly loud banging sound, roughly 3 or 4 in a row depending on how long I keep the throttle on when it starts to lose traction. What is this? It sort of feels like axle tramp, but I am not sure if this is correct. I believe the diff bush is a little shagged according to the previous owner, but I haven't had a look at it yet. I was driving with traction control off. The car is a manual. If you guys could shed some light on this that would be great.Cheers.

Modified my driving style and it doesn't happen anymore....well...not as much anyway Edited 06/06/10 08:37 AM by BionicXR6T

This will quickly stuff the rear diff bush. The blade link std bushes are pretty much useless. Edited 06/06/10 09:23 AM by Smoke them tyres

Not sure about turning the traction control off. Why would you bother?? Traction has never been controlled!!!
