Lifetime Members 1,122 Member For: 16y 7m 26d Gender: Male Location: Greenvale, Victoria Posted 17/06/10 01:43 PM Share Posted 17/06/10 01:43 PM I was always led to beleive that fuel not under pressure was prone to vapour lock and that's why you put fuel pumps at the rear so all fuel lines coming into the engine bay would not be affected.A set up like this (which on its own looks quiet strong) would have to have a substantial hit to the rear given that it was protected (slightly) by the rail to which it is fitted. No way would I have this in the enging bay. 1.7 litres of fuel in my hot engine compatment...I don't think so.All the group As have them down the rear? Correct me if I am wrong.
