I have the Hitachi

http://www.hitachi-powertools.com.au/productdetails.aspx?Product=WR18DL(HD)

does a pretty good job. Thou it wouldnt undo the wheels the other weekend, Not sure how tight they were done up from the tyre place. Also wouldnt undo the brake caliper. Unsure on battery charge. Possibly half charged. Has done other cars easily. Once the bolts were cracked with the breaker bar its handy to get the wheels nuts done quickly. Also usefull for getting the scissor lift up and down real quick.

A mate of mine has a Snap On battery rattle gun and it's an awesome peice of kit. Battery lasts really well and gets nuts undone that we couldn't get with a 400mm breaker bar. Not cheap but I'd highly recommend one.

I used to have a snap on rechargeable rattle gun for work, they have a bad habit or wearing out the

battery retaining clips after extended use and the battery loses contact when you are using the gun and the gun

cuts in and out, freaking annoying! Replaced it with a hitachi 14v unit that has been going strong

for over 5 years of trade use, the big surprise for me was how good the $150 Ozito (yes from bunnings...!) 18v lithium

units are. They will do wheel nuts, caliper bolts and I even used it to remove all bellhousing, clutch pressure plate

AND flywheel bolts when swapping gearboxes in my car! For home use I would probably go for that!

the 18v gear from hitachi isn't too bad, the kidchrome cordless ones are alright, I was tempted but I already have an ingersoll rand pneaumatic gun and couldn't justify a 2nd rattle gun for the amount I use them.

I ended up buying the Hitachi Cordless Impact wrench. Only problem is that I also ended up with a new Cordless Impact Driver, Cordless Hammer Drill and Cordless Vacuum.

Dam EOFY sales!!! :nyaah:
