The problem is If it's not mainstream sh*t then it don't recognise also mixed cd's or compilations count as farkin 20 plus individual cds rather then one. And just In general it's F#*KED!!

You can mark them as compilations in itunes.

Select the files you want, right click and select 'get info', go to the options tab and turn the 'part of a compilation' option to 'yes'.

You can also manually add the artwork.

No you can't, cause ITUNES JUST COMPLICAES the f*ckhouse out of everything.

Don't stress, got media player to sorta work. Itunes is still hopeless.

Would not having a Itunes account cause it to not work properly?

Doubt it, I think the only limitation that will give is that you can't use genius.

To be honest iTunes sh*ts me as well...used purely to sync the iPod once every few months after acquiring new music.

Itunes is like letting a monkey organise your music , and the new windows media player 12 on windows 7 is a downgrade from wmp11...Theres a few tutorials on how to install wmp11 onto windows 7
