I'm currently using RDA gold's on the front of the Phoon with EBC reds, have had them on for the last 18 months/65,000 km with no issues. No where near as good as the Brembos but a heap cheaper. For everday street driving I think they're fine. Scott

Havent been able to test them yet as there still bedding in, but I dont need anything serious, I don't take the car to the track etc. If I get any kind of kms out of these I will be happy, especially at the price I got them at. DBAs were around $500 per rotor from memory?

Got the RDAs with Redstuff pads for $300 a corner (600 total). Not entirely sure how they go yet, but if these are sh*thouse will definitely hit ya up for a price.

I'm interested in feedback on the EBC Red's as I have heard there is a new compound late 2009 or early this year which is greatly improved? Looking at the chart on the website they don't have a higher temp rating to start working so should work well on the street for general and heavy use. They are not a track pad though. They are meant to be pretty low on dust too.

From what I've seen so far, they are pretty damn good when there warmed up, colder not as good but still nothing bad at all. And yeah, not sure what was on there before but these have practically zero dust compared to the old ones.

Any comparisons for cold braking performance to other pads you've used? Is the pedal feel good on these too?

That all depends on the type of brakes you have and the types of rotor you are getting for them.

Do you have a BA with standard brakes?

What brand/type of rotor are you getting for that much with the EBC Reds?
