Hey guys/gals.

Got a Detroit truetrack LSD fitted yesterday at hart transmission in brendale which is in Brisbane. Cost me $1870 drive in drive out. So far so good I haven't noticed any noise from the diff and the traction control works great. If there are any dramas I will let you all know.

Cheers

Good move, Sir. The Haart guys are great. They practised on mine, so yours whould have been a doddle for them.

Nice work - and you'll love the effect on that great car of yours.... :icon_ford:

Hey people,

Interesting in this next mod. With just under 330rwkw, the next step could be this mod. I'm not that cluey on which product to get next.

Anyone able to give a quick overview about Best ones vs Cheaper sh!t ones?

Like comparing Akrapovic exhausts to a Yoshi pipe...

ANy help would be great. Cheers.

I'm finding it no so bad now, with 6000km on the clock, mines tight as, so tight infact it hasn't spun 1 wheel since about 3000km on the clock, feels the same as the torsen did in a previous car, even on the hoist it's difficult to spin one wheel, that said, it's probably on the way out, just like my rodeo was and after all the non LSD acting like an LSD goodness next stage is no drive at all, lol.. Although in this case I haven't got any noises from the rear end....

First upgrade IMHO if you are still doing it all is get some better rubber on the rear, then see if you still want it

I've got kuhmo ku31s... not bad(I think?)... crazy spins lots of the time when I put the right tyre pressure in.... :turboboink:

hmmm so... the next upgrade is $2k for LSD and $2k for a turbo. that's a lot of cheese.

So what are my options for the best LSD? I don't have much knowledge around this topic?

Cheers,

Hi folks,

Recently fitted a Harrop sourced Truetrac LSD. Can't say enough good things about it (Bit pricey, bulletproof build).

Hook up is smooth & grippy with stock SP sport maxx 245/40 18's. Wheel tramping problem dissappeared.

Engine mildly tuned to 270rw/kw. Can't wat to take it to the dragstrip.
