(Picture attached) My question is, is this standard or has something happened here? ie a break that has been repaired? It is also leaking from this join (white spalsh marks around it). Not sure if this is normal (the rubber hose bit, not the leak). Thanks in advance! I'd just tighten up the clamps on all the hoses but then you may find it will leak else where like the thermostat housing in which case you will need some sealer for it.Has the car been modified at all as when I first did mine they started leaking and I assume its from more boost so more heat.Love the Hoes heading also...lol Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/68504-turbo-coolant-lines-rubber-hoes-link/#findComment-1012450 Share on other sites

Looks like it has been leaking for a while. Might change the hose as it looks pretty crappy. It's quite common for the o-ring on the end of that pipe to leak also. My FG started leaking from that pipe at less than 5000kms and I had a BA that leaked from the same seal early on in life. It's only a couple of $$ so may pay to do it while you're doing the hose. I wonder what they put in the coolant so that it marks where it is leaking from? pretty neat I reckon.Thanksdave Edited 10/06/10 08:06 AM by RHR No need to quote above post.
