How To Mesh The Top Grill?

I mean just over the engine, not the intake system. Would it increase underbonnet temps?

if it did I doubt it would be a noticeable amount, cant tell you 100% but the grille section is big on the xr's,plenty of cars getting around with these aftermarket grilles, havent heard of any problems? I know Expensive Daewoo modified their grille's because they were having engine temp problems in a few earlier models.

Ive seen mesh cable tied over the top of the xr grill and it actually looks good , you can barely notice the grill behind it... inless the mesh has wide holes of course , but the mesh I was looking at was really small and compact
