Dario, I'm very interested to see how you go playing around with the cam timing. I assume you're using the Atomic cam gears. Are you also going to try putting the factory cam gears back in so you get the variable phasing working again with the Stage 4s?? I'm wondering if these are why the factory cams work so well, and if they are, I'd expect even better things from the Stage 4s with them. Keep us posted.

Are you not happy with the power increase of the stage 4 cams or the general running of them? If Jim hasn't tuned a car with cams before, the first time can take a bit of work to get your head around it, but when he gets it worked out they run just like stockers. Trust me, the stage 4's have absolutely NOTHING on how difficult the stage 5 cams are to tune :fool:

no im not putting the vct gears back on yet. im changing the cam timing from zero and seeing what works best as zero cam timing drops off to early 6000 rpm same as stock which is not right so soon will see if they dont do much the stock cams go back in with the atomic cam gears and if the cam gears dont work with the stock cams then the vct cam gears go back on as it was when it was stock
