Grip on accel is much more than any 240 treadwear tyre I've driven on. They are head and shoulders above the dunlops. Wet weather they surprised the hell out of me too. $240 a corner or 17s I payed. The reason achilles get such a mention is because you can get 275/30r20 for under $200 with a 400 treadwear and yet they still grip pretty well. You can buy brand new 235/40zr18 for 90 bucks a corner brand new, and as stated they have plenty enough grip, awesome tread ware so you don't chew em out too fast.
