I had to have a tank of 95 drained from my Honda cause it was no good, I will never buy from a 7/11 again. On the plus side though they paid for the damages!

Should give BP a miss now after what they've done in the Gulf of Mexico. I always ran BP Ultimate, never again.

Yeah bad news for me as I only use Mobil. If they change the 2 servos I frequently use im not going to be happy.

Also don't want to use BP because of their stuff up in mexico but there isn't much else out there.

Shell - Pov

Caltex - Pov

United - ???

Other independent servos - Stale fuel

Looks like bp it is

Mobil are getting out of all consumer retail sales...if 7/11 aren't taking over your local then someone else is. From memory Caltex tried but was knocked on the head by ACCC.

Depending on where you are they are all incestuous with their supplies in any case. I.e. when the Caltex refinery had issues up here BP ran out of fuel as well. Yet the funny thing is people still claim that BP is the best and Caltex is crap :msm:

From memory its not just Exxon, Caltex, and Shell... I think I remember being told United had there own plant somewhere as well... But farked if I remember any of this anymore...

Then you have CSR, Origin (GAS FKA BORAL) etc...

A few of the station owners in and around Albury as mates with the olds, and (from memory), I believe Mobile and Caltex where all but one in the same now anyways... (Not meaning retail, but the plants)... Or they were sharing processes, I cant really remember, could have also been one was processing X Fuel, and XX Fuel, with the other process XXX and XXXX fuel...

At the end of the day - who the fark knows anymore?

Just like Ford Aust, Expensive Daewoo Aust... Tell me minus the badge and corporate ownership... End product is in a way 50% for bloody same anyways... All the fastener are from the same suppliers, same as Boing airlines, BaE etc...

If you buy a iPhone its just a Samsung, Sony LCD - Samsung... So at the end of the day - I guess we are all really just muppets to big business, are we not???

:omg:
