I can sympathise with you Danny. The same thing happens for me in Information Technology... I am trained in it, but its more of a hobby outside of teaching. Help someone out once, and you are theirs forever... with any little problem...

Glad to see you put this person back in their place...

IF you want your car tuned by someone, you should listen to them as to what you need to have done to it.

I pitty the poor bastard that has to tune this guys car!!!

My step-dad always said "never turn your hobby into your job" he was extremely passionate about cars throughout his life and when he semi retired in his late 40s opened a small restoration business for Jags, Astons, Porsches, etc, but after 15 years in the industry he'd had enough and to be honest I can see it's ruined his passion for car...

each to their own.

id rather pay full price for everythgin to be fixed in a week, then half assed in 3+ months with a backyarder who claims they can do everything 'if they have time'.

We both learnt lessons here.

Im sure people will still use headsex as a tuner. They will just have to stick out 10 month waits. Some people are patient enough I suppose.

this is one of the reasons I will never start my own place again.some people just want every thing done yesterday and dont want to pay for it either.

There are alot of good customers out there but it is the few bad ones that stuff it for the rest.
