So far DYNO-MITE is pulling up awesome cars with built auto's. Even if I get 1-2 years out of slamming my auto ill be happy and paying 700$ each build. NO I dont want a power glide as its a daily car, and a c4 / 3 speed is out of the question as I dont have 10k to throw at it in one hit.Anyone know the price of dyno-mite custom tunes? Already got the flash etc and will call Dion tomorrow and have a chat. I know theres heaps of tuners, and I know I always refer everyonr to Mick @ PITLANE, but I need someone who knows how to keep an auto alive with proven results and customers. DYNO-MITE is the only other one other then headsex himself who I know can do it.As its a professional work shop and not a backyard job, it should be done in 1-2 days once I drop it of. Its that the guys that have big tunes havent run them... Or if they have, then have been on street tyres...Whistler6 ran a 12.5 @ 120+mph with a 2.7s 60 foot... If he was to put on some semis and gave it a launch, he would be close to 10s... has 380rwkw...Not everyone wants a highly tuned car for just drags...The 4 speed auto wont last with any power behind it... As stated, decent torque will kill it... If you want a 10 second car pushing 1800kg... You need torque...Even if it is "built" (what is a built 4 speed??? AU planetries and a stallie?)
