If I go and put on a full exhaust from the turbo back, will I need a tune to suite ? or can I drive around with the exhaust on and wait to get the tune when I get the rest of my mods. ?Thanks

scottay Member 366 Member For: 14y 6m 26d Posted 22/05/10 02:32 AM Author Share Posted 22/05/10 02:32 AM Why ? Is it going to throw out the afr's that much its going to cause issues ? Or more due to the fact id get more power with the tune. I Just wanna know if its safe to still drive until I get the rest of the mods done

You will have to nanny it and for gods sake keep it off boost.I had an APS Zorst removed and a custom job fitted and the car was running lean as. I expected this and basically got overtaken by pushies driving it to CV
scottay Member 366 Member For: 14y 6m 26d Posted 22/05/10 02:51 AM Author Share Posted 22/05/10 02:51 AM Is this only due to the fact you changed your dump and front pipe aswell ?If I just fitted a catback would it still screw with the AFR:S Id just prefer to fit all the stuff myself then take it to a tuners and then have them charge me to fit it. Obviously stuff like injectors they will need to put in at the shop.I should be able to get 300rwkw with cooler, exhaust, injectors, fuelpump and tune ? Save the money from the exhaust and get injectors and fuel pump.yeah and dont drive it around with an exhaust and no tune, overboost can be bad for you. get all the parts then fit em when you get the tune.CheersAnt Edited 22/05/10 05:06 AM by RHR No need to quote above post.
