I was looking at just getting it tuned as is and be happy with that increase (iv looked through the threads and seen some guys get 240 odd rwkw+ which id be happy with). Im also tossing up whether to do a few mods. Is it worthwhile putting on a monza or ebay type intercooler (I added a link) on without doing other work? Iv just got a k&N filter and im putting on a f6 intake but that's it. Overall im not looking for a monster I just want a nie increase over standrard.Ford falcon BA BF XR6 turbo Huge intercooler Power adde - eBay Intercoolers, Performance Parts, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 30-May-10 02:13:16 AEST)As iv said im not after huge power or anything, but I want to make it all safe and reliable (so maybe do valve springs just to be safe?)thanks guysMichael

I wouldnt stress too much with valve spings but you can do it if you got 900 bucks spare. I'm still running stockers in my 310 rwkw and they hold up fine, but they are getting the ass soon anyway. andrich Member 94 Member For: 15y 8m 23d Posted 21/05/10 03:47 PM Author Share Posted 21/05/10 03:47 PM ah really that seems pretty good and pretty much wat I want. I dont really want to do the valve springs if I dont have to but if its safer then its worth while. Those mods seem quite acheivable and easy, any more info is much appreciatedcheers
fatnsticky Member 9 Member For: 15y 4m 8d Posted 01/06/10 10:17 AM Share Posted 01/06/10 10:17 AM my valve springs failed b4 the tune up! Which is apparantly very common. I've got kn filter, nizpro springs, 42 lbs injectors, x force 3.5" exhaust, and tune by aitkenvale dyno. Made 270 rwkw, very happy with it. Aittkenvale dyno said the intercooler is the next restriction b4 making 290-300.

Some of this is for safety, some for better airflow, and some just a necessity. If you pick up some of this stuff second hand the savings are massive! Posted 09/06/10 12:36 AM Share Posted 09/06/10 12:36 AM for him to reach his 240 he doesnt need valve springs most likley can get away with it. Just tune, injectors, CAI and monza cooler, hiflow cat and remove middle muffler. Doesnt need to even do the IC pipe to achieve that. that's about $2k walk in/out and you should be more then happy with 230-240rwkw. But as we all know, you wont want to stop there. And if you want more power, you will again be replaceing your cooler. Injectors get deka 60's not the boshe 42's so you have room to play later on
