Guys if you are running any semi-serious mods get the box serviced (pan filter & oil) every 10- 15ks.

Prevention is better than cure!

BTW who changes into 6th @ 80kph , car would just about stall, no wonder it doesn't like it ?

I only use 6th over 110 kph and even then it's just mincing alonginnocent.gif

Could clunk in the high gears be due to a shagged diff bush? Because mine will clunk when in 6th and down shifting on the freeway but the noise comes from the rear of the car.

Buff the box down shifts if revs get too low. There is a small rev band where you can hear the engine labouring though if you're right on the edge. I can cruise in 70 zones in 6th easily on mine :dontknow:

Oh and the auto will put itself in 6th at 80 from memory, once you stop moving the pedal.

Hell I drive in 5th in 60 zones!

I hear what you are you saying. I drive primarily in manual mode , so much so that the polish has come off me gear knobinnocent.gif

Really! I better watch out, I love manual mode too except if it's the first 2 minutes and it's ice cold (changes seem spongy and soft in manual mode so I figure it's nicer on the box). Don't wanna have to polish my knob, might do some further damage :spoton:
