I guess its the price you pay for doing mods to a car... My started to thumb into 6th and then 3 months later the auto broke. I think the tune is half to blame. I got the auto strength and then a re tune by a different tuner. There is a noticeable different in the way the engine behaves on gear changes. Others would say otherwise. Tony, I hope the auto gets sorted out.

Guest EGOXRT Guests Posted 26/08/10 11:46 AM Share Posted 26/08/10 11:46 AM Dude, I will go as far as saying he did not even rebuild your old auto. Get someone ELSE to take it apart and see what was really done. I have seen this man at work and to me, he is a dumb ass butcher that can't diagnose let alone repair. For those that think he knows how to tune WAKE UP, ffs.

I really listened to my zf this morning.. When she is cold, she sorta hesitates to change gears.. and that aint with fanging it hard or anything... the changes are a little more vilent when shes cold... When she is warm though.. hang the f*ck on... she runs reall good apart from that 6th gear .... but it seems like an issue with dropping into 6th gear at specific speeds.. not sure exactly what speed but I think it makes that drop into 6th when the speed isnt too high and the revs drop to like 1200 revs.. mate.. youve really made me think about my box now... how much to get one serviced??my car has 140ks on her.. anybody done a oil and filter change on a zf?? I get a small clunk if I manaully shift into it early on (say around 80k's or so). Sometimes it's smooth as though. I've done almost 100,000 now so it's probably due an oil change
