Oh ok. You mean it didn't go on the hoist for a week after you took it back there to have the rebuilt boxes (if you can call it that) problem checked out.

There is basically nothing in the tune to alter shift patterns etc on the ZF, torque limits can be altered to help shifts slightly, but no tuning like the 4 speed can do, hopefully this will be sorted in the future.

Sorry to hear of your outcome.

box stripped and the verdict is... full rebuild from kewish

5 problems in the box: valve body cured 2 of the problems which was the box thumping from 5th to 4th, and thumping from neutral to drive.

With the new valve body in the box it started slipping into 4th gear.

Bushes were all worn and not replaced, all clutch clearances were wrong.. all that was done was a few new clutches and new converter ( thank god for that atleast)

Your lucky that he even replaced the fluid, maybe watchamacallit he didn't.. Seriously mate, don't let him go. Get a report from Kewish, keep all the replaced, I mean crap he threw in there and chase your $$$. I bet you he charged you over $2k for that job, common thief.

Using that wankers keyboard skills, TAKE HIM TO THE CLEANERS..

:pinch:

Sorry to see you get burnt tonyv. No doubt at the outset you were wondering WTF these guys were on about as all seemed to be fine. Just goes to show you can't beat the collective knowledge of a joint like this.

Regardless I hope you get it all sorted.
